The benefits

 

Stresses caused by weaning, heat, vaccination and feed changes can cause an imbalance in the intestinal microflora. These conditions can impair fluid balance, proper functioning of intestinal and immune functions and create excess ROS (reactive oxygen species).

The addition of electrolytes to the drinking water during periods of heat, such as

K+,Na+  and Cl- ions promote water consumption and water retention. They are directly involved in maintaining the acid-base balance and regulating osmotic pressure.

Vitamins A, D and B-complex are known to help maintain proper regulation of physiological functions, including those involved in the immune system and intestinal tract.
